Your First Consultation & Planning Your Visit
Private and GeSY consultations are available at the German Medical Institute in Limassol. Appointments are also offered every Wednesday afternoon at the GMI outpatient offices within Zoi Medical Center, 52 Arch. Makariou III Avenue, 1075 Nicosia.

REQUESTING OR CHANGING AN APPOINTMENT
Provide your name and a callback number, indicate whether you are requesting a private or GeSY appointment, and state your preferred location. The secretary can clarify referral requirements, availability and arrangements for changing an appointment.
PREPARING FOR YOUR VISIT
Bring identification, your referral where applicable, recent imaging and reports, pathology results, blood tests, discharge summaries and previous operation notes. Please bring the actual imaging files on disc or as a secure shared link when available, together with an up-to-date list of medications, doses and allergies. Ask the secretary how to share medical records before sending sensitive information by email.
YOUR FIRST CONSULTATION
The consultation covers the history of the problem, a review of previous investigations and examination when appropriate. The working diagnosis, any further tests and the available treatment options are discussed in clear terms. This includes the intended benefits, important limitations and risks, alternatives, likely hospital stay and recovery. Complex cases may require review of imaging and pathology or multidisciplinary discussion before a final recommendation is made.
Questions prepared in advance are useful. You are welcome to bring a relative or friend for support. When a decision is not urgent, written information and time to consider the options can be provided. Your preferences and individual circumstances remain central to shared decision-making.
LOCATION & ARRIVAL
German Medical Institute, 1 Nikis Avenue, 4108 Agios Athanasios, Limassol, Cyprus. Please arrive approximately 15 minutes early for registration and let the secretary know if you need accessibility assistance.
URGENT CONCERNS
